What counts as a reservation

A bookingOne reservation per bay (or room) per booking. People never count.
Long bookingsOne reservation up to 4 hours. Each further 4 hours started counts one more.
Guests and party sizeNever count. A party of 6 is one reservation.
Leagues and repeat seriesEach bay that starts counts once. Setting up the series is free.
CancellationsCancel before the start and it is not counted. A no-show or a refund after the start is counted.
StaffStaff bookings, maintenance and closed holds never count.
Billing never changes your doors. If a payment is late, doors, PINs and access stay exactly as they are.

Short answers

How does the free trial work?

14 days from the day your controller first connects. No card to start; we ask for one from day 10. Nothing is charged during the trial.

Who counts as a member?

Anyone whose membership lets the doors admit them that day, averaged over the month. The first 100 are free. Staff, guests and frozen or cancelled members never count.

What if the internet goes down?

Doors keep working with the access they already have. Billing never changes doors.

Is anything paywalled?

No. Every feature is on every account, and emergency, door alerts, access history and support are never gated.

Do I need new hardware?

No. You bring your own UniFi Access. Doorbeat never resells hardware.
